Beer permit approved for Bobby Lanier Farm Park Bluebird Fest on April 11

The Germantown Beer Board approved a temporary on‑premise beer permit for Bobby Lanier Farm Park Inc. to serve beer at the Bluebird Fest and Crawfish Boil on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from noon to 3 p.m.

Clerk Beatty told the board the application included proof of the applicant’s nonprofit status and a certified server trained under Tennessee rules. No members of the public spoke during the public‑hearing portion. Alderman Scott Sanders moved to approve the permit; Alderman Hicks seconded. Vice Mayor Gibson disclosed that he is a member of the Bobby Lanier Farm Park nonprofit and recused himself from the discussion and vote.

Clerk roll call recorded affirmative votes from Aldermen Hicks, Yulicki, Salvaggio and Sanders; the permit was issued and handed to the applicant during the meeting. Parks and Recreation staff confirmed the event is free to attend, with crawfish purchases requiring advance sign-up.

The permit application packet in the board’s materials included a public hearing notice and server training documentation; the board did not attach additional conditions at the time of approval.
