Forest Grove board reviews self-assessment, schedules follow-up discussion

Chair Christie told the board she emailed the self-assessment results and that summary graphs highlight areas where directors scored lower. She said the board should discuss why certain items scored low and identify actions to improve before repeating the survey in six months.

Director Kate Grandusky said she reviewed the assessment and found it “insightful,” noting this was the first time she had participated in one while on the board. Christie said the board will plan discussion time when absent members (Pete and Brisa) can participate, likely at the April meeting.

Next steps: board members will review the emailed summary graphs and plan a dedicated discussion at an upcoming meeting when a full complement of directors is present.
