Carmen Ruiz (Youth Services Manager) described youth schedules and volunteer opportunities for teen service learners; Angie Snyder (Adult Services Manager) described adult classes including a citizenship course starting June 18 and a nine-session painting series.
Yasmin Arellano (Director of Public Works) accepted a proclamation for National Public Works Week and invited the public to a Public Works Zone on Main Street. Frank Carson (Director of Parks and Recreation) previewed America on Main Street (Saturday event with a 2 p.m. naturalization ceremony scheduled, free entertainment, a Foodie Fest with a VIP option and sponsor activities), described marketing and logistics and answered council questions about location and timing.
