Developer says 1,700‑acre wind project proposed for northeast Woodland Township

Stephanie B., representing Cordelio Power, told the board during limited public comment that the company plans a wind power project on about 1,700 acres in the far northeast corner of Woodland Township. She said community open houses are expected in May or June 2026, construction is anticipated to begin in 2028, and commercial operations are projected to start at the end of 2029. She added that the company is engaging with participating landowners in five townships across Ionia and Eaton counties.
