Design Review Board honors Jessica Gannon on her final meeting

At the opening of the March 26 meeting the Laguna Beach Design Review Board and city staff honored Jessica (Jess) Gannon, who is leaving the board after three terms (six years). The chair read a proclamation from the mayor thanking her for service to the board and the community, and staff presented cards and a book of Laguna photographs. Several board members and staff praised her steady counsel, advocacy for neighbors and consistent service.

Board members described Gannon as a reliable and fair presence: "You were always great counsel. You were tough, but you were fair," one colleague said. Staff said Gannon had "left a lasting impression on the city" and thanked her for leadership. The board took a group photograph and acknowledged Gannon’s contributions before proceeding to the regular agenda.
