Bolingbrook swears in new police captain and welcomes a large cohort of officers

At its Sept. 9 meeting the Bolingbrook Board witnessed a series of police promotions and swearing-in ceremonies.

Trustee Michael T. Lawler moved and Trustee Troy J. Doris seconded the appointment of Michael Harvey as Police Captain (badge #1123); the motion carried by voice vote and Mayor Mary S. Alexander-Basta swore him in. The minutes list multiple promotions and assignments, including Lieutenant Steven Jahnke and Sergeants Brandon Gentry and David Henzler, and the swearing-in of a large group of newly appointed officers with assigned badge numbers.
