Huntley Police Pension Fund accepts March report and approves $41,648.86 in disbursements

The Huntley Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees voted April 24 to accept the monthly financial report for the three-month period ending March 31, 2025, and approved $41,648.86 in disbursements.

Dhara Patel of Lauterbach & Amen presented the report showing a net position held in trust for pension benefits of $21,137,829.89 and a change in position of ($55,422.74) for the period. By motion from Trustee Timothy Heagney, seconded by Trustee Cathy Haley, the Board accepted the Monthly Financial Report and approved the disbursements shown in the Disbursement Report; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Trustees Heagney, Michael Hewitt, Joseph Lanute and Cathy Haley voting yes.

Separately, the Board reviewed custodial statements from State Street and the Illinois Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund (IPOPIF). The State Street monthly summary reported the Fund's market value as $21,036,522.29 as of March 31, 2025, with a month-to-date net return of (1.93%). The Board also reviewed an IPOPIF performance review prepared by Verus Advisory, Inc. for the period ending Feb. 28, 2025; that report cited a one‑month total net return of (0.1%) and referenced an ending market value of $12,934,630,123 for the pool noted in the Verus materials.

The Board reviewed the Fund's Cash Management Policy and determined no changes were necessary. The meeting record shows no public comment on the financial items.

The Board will next convene July 24, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Huntley Village Hall, conference room A100.
