Lindenhurst board approves $295,807.89 in September bills

The Village of Lindenhurst Board voted Sept. 22 to approve the second set of bills for September, totaling $295,807.89 for invoices due on or before Sept. 22, 2025. Trustee Pat Dunham moved the motion and Trustee Pat Dickson seconded; a roll call vote recorded six ayes, zero nays and the motion carried.

Earlier in the meeting the board approved minutes from the Sept. 8, 2025 regular meeting on a 6–0 voice vote after Trustee Dawn Suchy moved and Trustee Patty Chybowski seconded the motion.

Village staff reported routine operational updates during the meeting: Village Administrator Clay Johnson said contractual pavement patching and concrete work were taking place that week, and Police Chief Melinda Linas said proceeds from the recent golf outing will be presented to the 100 Club of Illinois once totals are finalized. The meeting adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
