The Village of Lindenhurst on Jan. 12 awarded the Rose Tree Stormwater Outfall Repair Project to V3 Construction Group of Woodridge, Illinois, at a contract amount of $562,100. The Board authorized the Village Administrator to execute an associated service agreement following a formal bid process.
Trustee Dawn Suchy moved to award the contract and Trustee Ron Grace seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Trustees Pat Dickson, Pat Dunham, Patty Chybowski, Dawn Suchy, Heath Rosten and Ron Grace voting in favor and none opposed.
Operations Director Kevin Klahs had earlier reported that stormwater work is being coordinated with ongoing water-main work on the Lake Shore Drive FAU Reconstruction project; staff indicated that drainage work will resume after current water-main activities are completed. The Rose Tree outfall repair is intended to address stormwater conveyance at the Rose Tree location and was presented to the Board as paired with related drainage work.
The Board authorized the contract award and directed staff to execute the agreement and manage coordination with ongoing infrastructure work. No amendments to the contract were recorded at the meeting.
