Confident Care Corp. opened a new location in Edison at 171777 Route 27 South at a ribbon‑cutting attended by local officials and chamber representatives.
"This business is incredible because it provides aid and care to those that are disabled as well as those that are seniors in their own homes," Mayor Sam Joshi said during brief remarks at the event.
The mayor said the facility will support in‑home care; he added the operation "manages over 1000 people" who receive services, a scale city and company representatives framed as expanding local access to home health care.
Elvira Boitaskaya, who identified herself as director of clinical services for the Edison Festival Plaza location, thanked Mayor Sam Joshi for attending and described the organization’s approach. "We are very excited to start our journey here to service the patients who are in need," Boitaskaya said, adding the organization has worked across New Jersey for almost 30 years.
Event organizers and company representatives said the Edison site is hiring new home health aides and is awaiting referrals from local providers and families. Joe Coyle of the Edison Chamber of Commerce introduced the mayor and helped lead the ribbon‑cutting.
Attendees completed a coordinated countdown and proceeded to the ribbon cutting. Company and city officials did not specify a public launch date beyond the ceremony recorded in the transcript and said they would continue to accept referrals and applications for staff.
