North Brunswick board approves calendar changes, personnel consent agenda and $82,952 change order

The North Brunswick Township Board of Education moved through regular business after Parsons School’s presentations and approved a set of operational motions affecting the district calendar, personnel and a school renovation.

Vice President James moved to amend the 2025–26 calendar to account for inclement-weather days and a high‑school transformer malfunction. The motion—approved by voice vote—keeps graduation on Monday, June 22 at 4 p.m.; sets the last day for pre‑K through grade 8 and seniors as Monday, June 22 (with senior exams on Saturday, June 20); and sets the last day for grades 9–11 as Tuesday, June 23.

The consent agenda—approved by voice vote—included personnel actions, curriculum, finance items, policy and transportation. The meeting record and subsequent remarks indicate the agenda included approval of Tracy Quattrochi’s appointment as Parsons principal effective July 1. Business Operations reported and the board approved change order number 1 for bid 26-01: a Judd Elementary School faculty toilet room renovation contract amendment to Magic Touch Construction Company in the amount of $82,952.
