Board approves minutes, donations, personnel hires and committee recommendations

During the March 26 meeting the board moved through consent and action items across committees and recorded roll-call votes approving minutes, donations, personnel appointments and committee recommendations.

Finance: A motion was made and seconded to approve finance action items 1–12, which included donations such as a $99.98 gift from the Middle School student council for restroom mirrors and a $1,400 donation from the Drive for Autism Foundation to Allen W. Roberts for occupational- and speech-therapy supplies. The motion was approved by roll call; all members present voted affirmative.

Facilities and education committees each moved and approved their listed items (facilities items 1–3; education items 1–3, which included Project Reboot — a mental‑wellness extension planned for October). Personnel items 1–6 were approved; the meeting record notes approval of Mister Constantino as the new head football coach and acceptance of Amanda Shrey as personnel confidential secretary with a July 1 start date.

A board‑policy item was moved, discussed briefly with no objections, and approved. The chair then moved to recess to closed session to discuss two student matters and adjourned the public portion of the meeting.
