Roselle board approves superintendent recommendations and field-trip items

The Roselle Public School District board approved superintendent recommendations and governance items, and later accepted curriculum and instruction field-trip items following brief procedural motions.

When the chair asked for a motion to accept superintendent recommendations and governance items, members responded affirmatively and the chair declared, "Motion passes." The board then asked for and received a motion to approve curriculum and instruction items related to field trips; the chair again stated, "Motion passes." The transcript does not record a named mover, second or a roll-call vote tally for either motion.

The chair announced the next regular board meeting will be Monday, March 23 (executive session 6 p.m.; regular portion 7 p.m.). The board also scheduled a special professional-development meeting Friday, March 27 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 28 beginning at 8 a.m. in the LV Morse Middle School gym.
