Middle-school representatives update board; high-school production and auditorium nearing completion

Middle-school student representatives Declan and Maddie presented to the Haddon Township Board of Education, offering updates on student life and recent accomplishments.

Superintendent (S3) introduced the students and encouraged a conversational presentation: "Just act like you're sitting around your dinner table," S5 told the students when preparing them to speak. The students reported on middle-school experiences and relayed high-school student updates on behalf of absent high-school representatives.

The superintendent highlighted notable student successes, mentioning two students who will attend the Naval Academy and two swimmers (named in the presentation) described as on track for All-American recognition. S3 also reminded the board and public that April 10 will be a scheduled school day under the current calendar.

During final public comment, speakers promoted the high-school production of "Newsies," noting a date change and asking the community to attend; the speaker also said the auditorium is roughly 90% complete and described some senior-ticketing arrangements.
