Chamber subcommittee to recommend Hotel‑Motel tax distribution; annual reporting required

County commissioners met with representatives of the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce on March 17 to discuss how Hotel‑Motel Tax receipts will be handled at the county level.

The Chamber will be required to submit an annual report detailing how the funds are spent. Commissioners and staff stated the funds are to be used to promote tourism.
