Morrow County commissioners approve $800,000 appropriation, elevator repairs and airport payments

Morrow County commissioners approved a set of routine appropriations and contract actions during the regular session, including an $800,000 appropriation from the development fund for HPM abatement, a pay application for airport fuel-farm work and a repair quote for the community service building elevator.

The clerk presented an appropriation request to transfer $800,000 of certified/unappropriated development-fund monies into professional services to pay for HPM 1 abatement. The motion passed on a roll call with affirmative votes recorded.

The board also approved pay application number 4 from CW Mechanical and Plumbing for the county airport fuel-farm project and voted to approve a grant contract between the county airport authority and a state aviation office (read in the record as the 'Ozotte office of aviation'), authorizing the chair to sign.

Separately, the board approved a quote from Cone to repair the community service building elevator for $20,096.37 with a $10,048 down payment and recorded the appropriation into the capital improvements fund.
