Wynne School Board approves personnel policies, 2026–27 contracts and a slate of hires

During its March 16 meeting the Wynne School District Board approved licensed personnel policies (3.8 and 8.5) and classified personnel policies (3.11 and 8.7). After an executive session on employment matters the board approved issuing 2026–27 licensed and classified contracts in accordance with the current salary schedule, with an exception noted in the minutes.

The board approved a list of recommended hires and additional assignments across the district, including teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, LEARNS tutoring and literacy tutors, speech-language services and other positions; effective dates and background-check contingencies are recorded in the minutes. The board also recorded several resignations and approved employment recommendations, changes in responsibilities and resignations as recommended by the superintendent.
