Commissioners give verbal approval to raise CCD fund rate, to hold public hearing; coroner told to return with vehicle quotes

The Switzerland County Board of Commissioners gave verbal approval March 2 to change the county's CCD rate from 0.0157 to 0.0333 and agreed to hold a public hearing on the proposal. Paige Sansone presented the change and said the difference for taxpayers could be roughly $5 to $50 on their tax bill depending on assessed value.
