Commissioners approve minutes and claims, consent agenda; staff report wind damage and trailer rental

At its Dec. 22 meeting the Stillwater County Board of County Commissioners handled routine business including approval of meeting minutes, payment of claims, and consent items, then heard brief staff reports and adjourned.

Commissioner Jeff Ruffatto moved to approve minutes from Dec. 15 and Dec. 18, 2025; Commissioner Roger Webb seconded and the minutes were approved 3-0. Commissioner Roger Webb moved to approve claims No. 113621–113782 totaling $376,021.95; Commissioner Jeff Ruffatto seconded and the board approved the claims 3-0. The board also approved the consent agenda, which included a contractor's consent to suspend work on pavement maintenance at the airport.

Facilities Director Chad Coles reported that a recent wind event caused mostly landscaping damage at the courthouse (a tree), that Grizzly Tree Service was hired for cleanup, and that an office trailer rental will be requested with placement around March 23rd. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
