The Grant County Board of County Commissioners on March 9 approved a slate of routine items across county departments, including Blanket Purchase Orders and department purchase orders covering the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The clerk read vendor names and amounts for funds including 911, EMS, Highway, General Fund, Fair Board and Health; the board approved the claims on a motion moved and seconded by the commissioners present.
Commissioner Keith McClure moved to approve the minutes from the March 5, 2026 regular meeting; Commissioner Craig Fredrick seconded and the motion carried. The board acknowledged a February 2026 stakeholders report from OSU Extension and approved a special payroll overtime payment for Elijah Koehn in the Sheriff’s Department.
Commissioner Craig Fredrick moved to table the OPEH&W Plan and enrollment planning for FY2026-2027; Commissioner McClure seconded and the motion carried. At 10:20 a.m. the board recessed to perform a statutorily required inspection of the Grant County jail; commissioners returned at 10:55 a.m. and adjourned the meeting.
