Meeting roundup: routine approvals, engineer contract and scheduling set by Fulton County commissioners

In addition to budget, grant and authority business, Fulton County commissioners completed several routine administrative actions at their Dec. 30 meeting.

The board approved and executed an agreement with Keller Engineer, Inc. to retain engineering services for fiscal year 2026 and noted the firm will be formally appointed at the Jan. 6, 2026 reorganizational meeting. Commissioner Bunch moved to approve Planning Commission meeting dates for 2026 as presented by Justin Evans for advertisement in the Fulton County Newspaper. The board also approved the Dec. 23 meeting minutes and accounts payable for Dec. 30, 2025.

A brief Salary Board meeting at 9:48 a.m. set pay for the newly hired per‑diem 911 dispatcher. Later the commissioners entered executive session at 10:01 a.m. for personnel matters, exited at 10:29 a.m., and adjourned at 11:15 a.m.
