EDC keeps current officer slate after brief vote

A motion to keep the current slate of officers "as it is" passed by voice vote at the Bloomington Economic Development Commission meeting after members voiced support and no opposition was recorded. Chair called for the question and members indicated assent.

The vote followed brief remarks praising the officers' work; one commissioner said, "The officers have done a wonderful job." Chair then asked, "So all in favor?" and members responded in the affirmative.

Commissioners also discussed how the commission should meet going forward. Staff suggested retaining monthly calendar appointments to remain available for urgent items while holding more substantive meetings quarterly. The group agreed to keep the May meeting to allow time for a tax-abatement review before a June 10 council presentation.

The commission did not take additional formal actions during the meeting and adjourned after routine business.
