The Board of Public Works and Safety on March 19 approved the minutes from its Feb. 26 and March 5 meetings, adopted the day's agenda and approved civil city and utility claims before adjourning.
The meeting was opened by the chair, who asked staff for "the short version" — "I mean, the executive summary" — of eight years of water-use records and said staff could provide summaries from different sources. That request was the only substantive item raised before the board moved on to routine votes.
A committee member moved to approve the Feb. 26 and March 5 minutes; the chair called for a second and the motion passed unanimously. The same committee member moved to approve the meeting agenda "as presented," which also passed unanimously. Later the chair moved to approve civil city and utility claims and adjourn; the board again voted "Aye" and the meeting concluded.
The chair asked whether anyone wished to speak during privilege of the floor and addressed one attendee by name, Kelly, who declined to speak. No public comments or substantive debates were recorded in the transcript.
The board recorded routine, unanimous approvals of minutes, the agenda and claims and adjourned after a short session. No follow-up dates or assignments were stated on the record.
