Board of Public Works and Safety approves minutes, agenda and claims at brief March 19 meeting

The Board of Public Works and Safety on March 19 approved the minutes from its Feb. 26 and March 5 meetings, adopted the day's agenda and approved civil city and utility claims before adjourning.

The meeting was opened by the chair, who asked staff for "the short version" — "I mean, the executive summary" — of eight years of water-use records and said staff could provide summaries from different sources. That request was the only substantive item raised before the board moved on to routine votes.

A committee member moved to approve the Feb. 26 and March 5 minutes; the chair called for a second and the motion passed unanimously.
