The Hanford Planning Commission recorded four formal actions at its meeting:
1) Chair election: Commissioner Hamm/Ham was nominated and re-elected chair by a 5-0 vote of the five regular commissioners. The clerk conducted the roll call and recorded the unanimous result.
2) Vice chair election: Commissioner Jim Nelson was nominated for vice chair and elected by a 5-0 roll-call vote.
3) Conditional Use Permit: The commission adopted Resolution 2026-04 approving Conditional Use Permit 0058-26 (massage therapy business at 804 North Erwin Street, Unit C) on a 5-0 vote. Staff had recommended approval and said the project is categorically exempt from CEQA under Guideline section 15301.
4) Tentative Tract 949 continuance: Staff asked to continue the public hearing for Tentative Tract 949 because the initial study upload to the state's Sequenet site was delayed; the acceptance date changed the 30-day review period to March 5'April 3, 2026. The commission moved and approved continuing the item to April 14, 2026 by a unanimous roll-call vote.
