The Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency used its April 8 meeting to publicize upcoming downtown events and community outreach opportunities.
Chair Nattlis listed events including an April 9 Rock Orchestra by Candlelight at Mizer Park Amphitheatre; the city’s State of the City and community celebration on April 10 (which will include a Downtown Boca tent and an Alta Planning & Design presence to collect input on East Palmetto Park Road); a City of Boca Raton night market in Sanborn Square on April 11; and an April 11 jazz evening at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. The chair encouraged residents to use the My Boca app to report concerns and to complete an online survey about East Palmetto Park Road ahead of an April 17 community meeting at the downtown library.
The announcements were informational; no formal votes or policy changes were made related to the events at the meeting. The CRA’s next substantive actions were scheduled to be discussed at upcoming budget workshops and follow-up meetings.
