Council refers Summer Street sewer bids to city engineer after lowest bid at $138,884

Hammond City councilmembers opened bids for the Summer Street sewer project and voted to refer the submissions to the city’s engineering consultant for review.

Engineering staff read the three bids: Hassy at $260,472.82, Dyer Construction at $202,200, and Grimmer Construction at $138,884.
