Treasurer Stephen Potter presented a tax adjustment for parcel 00-0035-0370, explaining the parcel had been combined with 00-0035-0523 in 2024 but a credit was not applied, creating a double taxation; the commission approved a credit of $1,218.84.
Bjourn Carlson of Farm Creek Meats described a recent audit finding that a freezer inside his building was classified as personal property and that some housing had been misclassified as secondary rather than primary; the commission voted to waive penalties and interest and authorized the Treasurer's Office to negotiate a payment plan.
