Commissioners approve routine business, hire 911 dispatcher and set planning dates

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners handled a series of routine administrative matters on Dec. 30, 2025, approving accounts payable, the pension report, professional services retention and personnel actions.

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve accounts payable totaling $112,913.87, which included $98,764.92 from the General Fund and $14,148.95 from Debt Service; the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved the December 2025 Pension Report, presented by HR Administrator Mary Huston.

Commissioners approved an agreement to retain Keller Engineer, Inc. for fiscal year 2026 and said they will formally appoint Keller Engineer at the Reorganizational Meeting scheduled for Jan. 6, 2026. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve Planning Commission meeting dates for fiscal year 2026 as presented by Justin Evans for advertisement in the Fulton County Newspaper.

On personnel, the board voted to hire Troy Wagaman as a per diem 911 dispatcher, effective pending required clearances; a brief Salary Board meeting at 9:48 a.m. set the salary for that position. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved the board into an executive session for personnel matters at 10:01 a.m.; the board exited executive session at 10:29 a.m. and adjourned at 11:15 a.m.
