Brookpark caucus tables hookah‑lounge license, schedules records‑fee change, pool resurfacing and ODOT resurfacing for March 16

Liquor license: Council reviewed a Department of Liquor Control application from Phoenix Hookah Lounge LLC for a D1 license at 17021 Brookpark Road (transaction noted as a dash‑1 variant of a prior filing). Law director Carol said the package looked similar to a May 2025 request, noted the Department of Commerce now uses a new portal and numbering system, and asked for one week of additional due diligence and contact with the owner. Records‑fee amendment: The legislative committee reviewed an ordinance to amend section 101.08 of the Brookpark codified ordinances (charged 'charges for service requests, copies of city records') to add fees for preparing video and photo productions.
