Meadow council appoints Jean Larson as UAMPS advisor

Meadow Town Council adopted Resolution 26-1 at its March 16 meeting to appoint Jean Larson as the town’s advisor on matters related to the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS), replacing Eric Larson.

The resolution was read into the record and brought forward for a vote. A council member moved the resolution and another seconded; council members voted individually with recorded yeas and the resolution passed. The moderator asked council members to sign and annotate their votes for the minutes after the roll call.

Council discussion noted Eric Larson had served previously and that Jean Larson would assume advisory responsibilities going forward. "Jean is replacing him," a council member said while presenting the appointment.

Next step: the signed resolution will be filed in the meeting record and Jean Larson will be the town’s point of contact for UAMPS-related matters.
