The Senate Judiciary Committee on March 16 recommended Tiffany Pelham Webb for reappointment to the Colorado Juvenile Parole Board and placed the appointment on the consent calendar.
Brandy Harper, deputy administrator for the Juvenile Parole Board, introduced Webb and described the board’s role overseeing parole conditions for juveniles adjudicated to the Colorado Department of Human Services. Harper said Webb is a “citizen member residing in Denver” who joined the board in 2024 and “was recently elected vice chair.”
Webb told the committee she values victim empathy and looks for evidence that youth “have used their time in the DYS commitment facility productively” and leave with “a plan both in their best interests and in the best interests of society.”
After brief questions from members, a committee member moved the appointment to the full Senate with a favorable recommendation; the committee recorded a 7–0 roll call and the chair noted the appointment would be placed on the consent calendar.
The committee’s recommendation sends the nomination to the full Senate; placement on the consent calendar means the nomination may be confirmed without separate floor debate unless removed.
