Snohomish County Council approves consent agenda, administrative motions and an appointment

The Snohomish County Council approved its consent agenda by voice vote during its March 11 meeting. Councilmember Neri moved approval; the motion passed by the recorded voice vote.

The council also considered and approved administrative motion 206‑126 (mover recorded as Councilmember Neri) and motion 206‑129, which authorizes the executive to sign amendment 14 to the county’s janitorial services agreement (EcoBryte Services) allowing up to six months of month‑to‑month service for an amount not to exceed $1,149,737. Debbie Mock, council staff, said an RFP was issued in 2025 and facilities is in contracting.

Motion 206‑130 confirmed Christina U. Wen Weidner to represent District 4 on the citizens commission on salaries of elected officials for an initial two‑year term; expedited handling was requested because the commission meets that evening.

All three motions were moved, seconded, and recorded as passing by voice vote during the meeting. The council did not debate these items at length during the session.
