Student newscast covers campus reminders, upcoming musical and KCMS applications

KCMS student newscast included school announcements, a principal message about hallway and lunch expectations, promotion of the school musical Newsies, details on KCMS production roles and an applications reminder, and weekly student acknowledgments.

Principal Miss Filar opened with a morning announcement reminding students not to be in hallways before school, at break or at lunch and to wait in the quad until the bell rings after returning from PE; she said adults who ask students to stop should be treated respectfully. She also said students may visit teachers' classrooms during the last 20 minutes of lunch only if the classroom is open and that food should be finished outside before entering.

Anchors Evan Friedland and Paige Merwin and other student reporters promoted the musical Newsies and noted tickets are $12 for Friday and Saturday night performances.
