At the March 11 meeting the council received the planning commission's report on an amended subdivision plat for 490 East Main, submitted by Jacob Anderson.
The planning commission deputy chair reported the commission reviewed the filing to determine whether it met the standards for an amended plat. "We looked at all the ins and outs of what made it an amended plat, and it seemed fine," the deputy chair said, and the commission voted unanimously to accept the amendment.
The deputy chair explained the change shifts a boundary line slightly toward the river at the rear of the property and noted the applicant owns surrounding parcels; when the applicant files the amended plat, he will also change the plat name to his own name. The deputy chair reminded the council that, while the river can change course over time, the recorded boundary in the amended plat will stand as filed.
No public comment was recorded on the item and the planning commission reported no outstanding conditions attached to its recommendation. The council took the planning commission's report for the record; no additional council action was recorded in the transcript.
