Committee approves minutes and forwards library site budget recommendation to JIC

At the March 13 meeting the Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities approved the minutes from the Feb. 13, 2026 meeting by voice vote, with members present responding 'aye.' Later the committee considered a budget recommendation related to the Far Southeast Library branch site selection. Vice Chair Chang moved to adopt the amended recommendation, a member seconded, and the committee recorded the motion as passed. Vice Chair Chang said she will submit the passed recommendation to the Joint Inclusion Committee for placement on the JIC agenda.

The committee also discussed upcoming elections for chair and vice chair and adjourned the meeting. No roll-call vote tallies were recorded in the transcript; the approvals were taken by voice vote.
