The Washington State Gambling Commission voted on March 12 to revoke a Class 3 employee certification held by Miguel Aragon after staff presented certified court records and recommended revocation.
Adam Amerine, legal and records manager, told the commission the agency received a criminal history affidavit and later obtained certified court records showing probable cause for two counts of child molestation filed July 2, 2025; he said the Muckleshoot Tribal Gaming Agency suspended the individual’s tribal gaming license. Amerine said the executive director issued administrative charges in January alleging the licensee "poses a clear threat to the effective regulation of gambling" and that the commission is authorized to revoke a Class 3 certification under cited RCW and WAC provisions.
Following staff presentation, a commissioner moved to revoke Aragon's Class 3 certification (identification number provided in the packet). The motion was seconded, commissioners voted 'aye' by voice vote and the chair announced the motion passed.
The commission's action is recorded as a formal license revocation; staff said the licensee had not responded to the charges at the time of the meeting. The record and staff memo cited specific RCW and WAC provisions supporting revocation authority.
