Eisemann Center director previews spring season rescheduled and specialty concerts

Ally, the Eisemann Center executive director, updated the Richardson Cultural Arts Commission on March 12 about the venue’s spring season and special programming.

Ally said the season will conclude over the next six weeks and highlighted several upcoming shows: Sonia De Los Santos (rescheduled to Sunday, March 22, 2 p.m. matinee); the Ravi Shankar Ensemble (a touring program curated by Anoushka Shankar); a Miles Davis centennial tribute arranged and led by jazz artist John Beasley on April 12 in the Bank of America Theater cabaret; the Australian circus company Circa performing "Humans 2" on April 17; the Okey Dokey Brothers family matinee on April 18; Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations program on April 20; and the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain on April 29. Ally described preshow Friends events and membership benefits such as preshow lounges and hospitality for Friends members.

The commission received these seasonal updates as informational; no formal action was taken. Staff also invited commissioners to upcoming Cottonwood and season‑preview events.
