The Emery County Travel Bureau voted to approve funding allocations for 11 event applications presented together as a single package. Event staff explained the packet lists the events, contact hosts and the funding amounts staff had budgeted for each; large events’ allocations were reduced in some cases from $3,500 to $3,000 because of budget adjustments.
Event coordinator explained the spreadsheet and said the bureau would share the application link for members who want details on each event’s expected attendance and program. The board opted to consider the applications as a group rather than as separate line items to speed agenda processing.
Cassie moved to approve all 11 applications as presented; the motion was seconded by David Wilson and approved by roll call with no recorded opposition. Staff said Green River–specific events that already had separate funding were excluded from the batch.
Members asked that staff be available to answer any follow‑up questions about specific events and said they could request individual items be pulled from future batches if needed.
