Triple Tree to deliver 95% design for Project 1 at next LURA meeting

The Laurel Renewal Agency heard progress updates on Project 1 and related work on Jan. 12, with consultant Triple Tree confirming that 95% design documents will be available at the next meeting on Jan. 26.

Agency members noted that a Jan. 8 pre-construction meeting covered ditch covering (Task #5); Doug from Triple Tree reported the work is expected to begin roughly a week after that meeting. The city has also begun shoulder work on the E. Railroad Path, staff reported.

Forrest Sanderson is updating cost sheets to reflect approximate landowner costs tied to Task Order #6 and will include an invitation to an open house intended to gather public input. Forrest said he will coordinate with Triple Tree on the open-house schedule.

The committee reconvened Jan. 26 to review the 95% design submittal and updated cost estimates.
