St. Martin Parish Council names Tricia Hammon Registrar of Voters

The St. Martin Parish Council on Feb. 3 appointed Tricia Hammon as the parish27s Registrar of Voters following interviews conducted Jan. 31.

Chairman Chris Tauzin requested a verbal roll-call of council members; each member named Tricia Hammon, and the chairman declared her the appointee. The council had earlier identified four candidates for the post: Jamie Angelle, Marvin Crockett, Jessica Devillier and Tricia Hammon.

The appointment was announced during the council27s regular session at the Carroll J. Fuselier Meeting Room. No objections were recorded during the roll call and the council moved on to the regular agenda items.

The selection completes the short-term appointment process begun at the special session on Jan. 31, when the council interviewed candidates for the office.
