South Lincoln EMS seeks district resolution; county approves UW Extension 4‑H funding

Jess Kramer of the South Lincoln EMS District told commissioners that staff are preparing a resolution to establish an EMS district and that they are awaiting a survey to proceed; the board discussed potential board membership. Scott Meyers, speaking on behalf of the Hospital District, expressed support for forming an EMS district.

Separately on the consent agenda, Commissioner Bowers moved to approve UW Extension agreements for two 4‑H Youth Development positions. The county will contribute $26,510 annually for the north position and $68,202 annually for the south position; the motion was adopted. Commissioners recorded those figures in the consent minutes.
