Treasurer reports March finances; notes $580,000 annual Justice Center debt payment and tribal funds adjustments

Jerry Greenfield, County Treasurer, presented the March financial statement to the Board of Lincoln County Commissioners and walked through several budget items and funds. Greenfield told commissioners that adjustments tied to the Local Assistance Tribal Consistency Funds were discussed and that Road & Bridge equipment costs for those funds will be $150,000 lower than initially anticipated. Greenfield noted the county’s debt-service obligation for the Justice Center, stating the annual payment is $580,000. He asked the board to consider those liabilities in budgeting and highlighted fairground bleacher cost adjustments as another line-item matter under review.
