Fremont board approves $3.81 million in February disbursements and personnel changes

At its April 8 meeting, the Fremont Board of Education approved Motion #6959 to accept the consent agenda, which included approval of March 11 minutes, February disbursements totaling $3,805,652.61 and staff changes.

Steve Paulsen moved to approve the consent agenda and Carrie Crosley seconded; the motion passed 7–0. The personnel actions recorded in the minutes list Sarah Abate as a new 4th-grade teacher at Daisy Brook and Rob Atwood moving to the middle school physical-education position.

The minutes do not provide additional detail on the disbursement line items or on contract terms for the personnel actions. Finance staff will provide final budget numbers as administrators finalize year-end spending ahead of upcoming negotiations.

What’s next: Director of Finance Julie Reams asked administrators to finalize spending by the end of April so the district can prepare accurate budget numbers for negotiations.
