Lincoln County agrees to switch the county credit card program to First Bank

Lincoln County commissioners agreed to switch the county credit card program to First Bank after a presentation from the bank’s local representatives during the March 7 meeting.

County Treasurer Jerry Greenfield introduced First Bank staff to discuss options for a county credit card program. Aubrey Judge, branch manager, described the bank as "a smaller branch" with local customer service that would be beneficial to the county. Ryan Machado, regional sales manager, provided an overview of program features, saying the bank would own, underwrite and service the program and provide card management free of charge with cash back and no associated fees, according to the presentation. Commissioners approved moving to the First Bank program.

The minutes record the board’s agreement but do not provide a formal contract text or vote tally. Next steps in the minutes call for transitioning county card accounts to the selected vendor and coordinating implementation through the county treasurer's office.
