Calhoun County commissioners on May 23 approved a set of procurement and vendor actions affecting county services and facilities.
County Administrator Mark Tyner presented a resolution to extend the county's residential waste services agreement with Arrow Disposal Service through July 1, 2027; Commissioner Henderson moved to adopt, Commissioner Wilson seconded, and the vote was unanimous. The commission awarded the Landfill Timber Sale to Cherokee Timber Company at a bid of $350 per acre and authorized acquisition of an additional camera for the Animal Control building through an agreement with Insight Public Sector.
