Burleson County commissioners approve replat, contracts and appointments

Burleson County Commissioners Court approved a series of administrative actions during its April 28, 2025 regular meeting in Caldwell, including a subdivision replat, several contracts and appointments, and the FY2026 budget calendar.

The measures matter because they authorize county operations and vendor services that affect public safety notifications, road work and county facilities. Among the items approved were a replat for Krueger Subdivision Lot 2, Block 1; special road-use indemnity agreements and permits for Wildfire Entergy Operating LLC; an engagement letter with CapRisk Consulting Group to provide GASB Statement No. 75 OPEB reporting for FY2024–FY2029; a services agreement with SylogistGov, Inc. to provide victim notification services under the OAG SAVNS grant; a Terracon change order adding a threatened-and-endangered species assessment and active nest survey; H&H Door’s proposal to install door access controllers; appointments to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) Homeland Security roster; and the FY2026 budget calendar and policy.

Details of key approvals: Commissioner David Hildebrand moved to accept the consent agenda, which included a $500 donation to the Burleson Health Resource Center; Commissioner Robert "Bobby" Urbanosky moved approval of the Krueger Subdivision replat; Commissioner Dwayne Faust moved and Commissioner David Hildebrand seconded the CapRisk engagement letter (cost $4,950). The court approved a SylogistGov contract (contract #52025-SYZ-Burleson) to provide Victim Notification Services from May 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026, as the Office of the Attorney General’s newly selected vendor tied to OAG Contract No. C-02213. The court also ratified Terracon Contract P96247491 change order #1 to add environmental survey work and approved H&H Door Proposal #002025QACB for door access controllers. The court appointed Duane Strange, John Pollock, Camden White, Bill Perry, David Resendiz and Bill Rios to the BVCOG Homeland Security roster and approved the FY2026 Budget Calendar and Policy.

All recorded motions were approved by the court with the minutes noting "All voted Aye. None voted No." The court also authorized payment of bills before adjourning.
