Union County commissioners approved multiple highway-related purchases and contract awards March 5 after a presentation from Highway Superintendent Jerry Buum.
The board voted to accept a $108,954 bid for a Load King lowboy trailer, a purchase recommended by Highway Superintendent Jerry Buum. Commissioner Headid moved the purchase and Commissioner Dailey seconded; the motion carried.
