Commission approves audit of claims including $558,000 payment to R. Scott Stewart Trust Account

At the April 2 meeting the board reviewed a detailed claims docket and approved it by motion. Commissioner Greg Goodman moved to review and approve the audit of claims; Commissioner Stanley Dick seconded the motion and it carried.

The claims roll published in the minutes lists vendor and payroll-related disbursements across county functions. Notable items recorded include a payment of $558,000 to R. Scott Stewart Trust Account (road and bridge category), a $60,750 payment to Mostad Insurance Services (miscellaneous), and a $4,950 payment to Lake Region Law Enforcement Center (sheriff's expenses). The minutes show numerous routine payments to utilities, vendors, NDSU Extension personnel reimbursements, and other service providers.
