Burleson County commissioners approve consent agenda, accept elections security plan under Grant #4978501

Burleson County Commissioners Court voted unanimously Dec. 8 to approve a consent agenda that included adopting November minutes, accepting two donations and a fiscal-year budget amendment, and to accept an elections security Written Information Security Plan (WISP) developed as a deliverable under Grant #4978501.

The consent agenda, moved by Commissioner David Hildebrand and seconded by Commissioner Bobby Urbanosky, included adoption of the Nov. 2025 minutes; acceptance of a $220 donation for the Burleson County Health Resource Center and a $500 donation for the Rainbow Room; and a Communications FY2025 budget amendment. The court recorded a unanimous vote in favor.

Commissioner Vincent Svec moved and Commissioner David Hildebrand seconded a separate motion to accept the Elections Security WISP "developed by the Elections Group as a deliverable under Grant #4978501, pending any requested modifications." The motion passed with an aye vote from the full court. Trevor Simmons was noted as a representative associated with the elections security deliverable.

The court also unanimously approved and authorized payment of county bills on a motion by Commissioner Hildebrand, seconded by Commissioner Vincent Svec. Later in the session, Commissioner Hildebrand moved and Commissioner Dwayne Faust seconded to adjourn; that motion also passed unanimously.
