The Kelloggsville Board of Education on April 22 approved a set of NEOLA policy updates on first reading. The motion, made by Mrs. Tanis and seconded by Mrs. Groters, passed unanimously.
The board-recorded list of bylaw/policy changes included: revision of 1240 (Evaluation of the Superintendent); rescission of 2410 (Prohibition of Referral or Assistance); revision of 2414 (Reproductive Health and Family Planning) and 2418 (Sex Education); technical corrections to staff evaluation (3220), purchasing (6320), new school construction and renovation (6321), procurement for federal grants/funds (6325), prevailing wage as a new policy (6350), payroll deduction revision (6520), animals on district property correction (8390), and revision to religious/patriotic ceremonies and observances (8800).
